Post-Phuket
Sorry for not updating in awhile, but for the past few days, we've been in Phuket for our mid-trip break. Sunday morning we went to church with the Phuket congregation and it was awesome. Their long-term missionary, Loren Hollingsworth, just left and so they sold the church building and are now meeting in homes. It was really neat to get to meet with them. There were only about 10 present because the other members of the congregation had gone to Chiang Mai for P'Lek's father's funeral. However it was really neat to meet with a small group of people. They had their own little service, and I was asked on the spot if I could translate for the English speakers. Well, I did my best and I hope it turned out alright. Afterwards we went back to our hotel and relaxed. It's good to have a break from teaching, but now that I'm back, I'm really excited about seeing my students again. I got to catch up on my sleep a little while and now I'm ready to teach. That's all for now, but I hope to write more later.
In Him,
Tong
